Made a rating of the top 10 website builders to help in choosing a platform to create a website. In the rating there are free website builders (mostly suitable for business card sites) and there are specialized: for sales, for SEO, for promotional design.
Each website builder includes an editor, hosting, the ability to connect your domain, and here are the differences below in my rating.

Basium
The interface is very similar to Tilda: sites are also made of blocks, there is a zero-block, you can create online stores.
Among the features can be emphasized on the connection with messengers: many blocks have links to WhatsApp, which allows you to follow the concept of “now all sales are in messengers”.
Bazium allows you to upload Mp4 videos directly to the site. That is, you can make pages with video inserts in the design and also use interactive videos. I’ve seen a similar thing in the American website builder Squarespace: a very effective tool to make a website interactive and lively.
When creating online stores, you can sell digital goods (graphics, instructions, checkers, etc). There is a personal account.
The disadvantages are: the complexity of customizing large online stores (too many options), as well as underdeveloped reference materials.
Tilda
Tilda allows you to create impressive websites for business and media. It ranks third in the ranking of website builders with 78 points out of 100.
On Tilda you can make very beautiful websites with animations. The plus is that you can make layouts in Figma, then import them into Tilda and there customize all screen resolutions, as well as complex animations that other website builders do not allow you to do.
The plus side of Tilda is the large number of tutorials on YouTube on how to make websites. You can find lots of ready-made HTML and CSS scripts to add to the zero-block, extending the standard website building features.
In 2025, Tilda released a neural network for website building that populates a website with information created with artificial intelligence. In my opinion, a good framework has been created, but it doesn’t yet allow you to write as well as a human, or a pre-trained ChatGPT.
The downsides of Tilda include sparse product cards and no personal accounts.
WIX
The advantage of WIX is the availability of a huge marketplace of applications: booking systems, records, AI-assistants, personal account, etc. Most of them are paid (payment only by international bank card), but since such applications are not available on other website builders, you sometimes have to look for an opportunity to pay.
Wix also has a reputation for not being the most technically efficient builder. Many agree that SEO – the weak side of Wix, and without additional settings sites are worse promoted in search. Another common complaint is slow loading of pages: “sites are noticeably slow even on powerful computers”, especially one-page sites with a lot of effects.
Minus of Wix: you can’t create an online store in Russia (ordering and payment functions are blocked), as well as the interface is too complicated (more functions = more complications).
Craftum
Craftum is a relatively new constructor from Timeweb, which is positioned as a more affordable analog of Tilda. Real users are often satisfied: the service is “very easy to use, good functionality” at a very affordable price. They note the presence of modern templates (although they are fewer than competitors) and useful features – for example, the site generator with AI and built-in tutorials.
The reviews praise Craftum support service: they respond quickly and help with questions, some even compare the experience after Wix as “heaven and earth” in favor of Craftum. Most users agree that Craftum copes with the task of quickly launching a simple lending or business card site and saves time and money.
But there are some disadvantages. While the platform lacks diversity – templates and ready-made blocks are not enough, the flexibility of customization Craftum is inferior to more “mature” competitors. In one review, it was stated directly that the service does not stand out in any special way and is not recommended for creating websites – they say that any of the top constructors is preferable.
