Creating or Editing Other Elements of the Web Page
The procedure to create other web page elements is somewhat similar
and knowledge of editing one can be used well to create or edit the rest.
Any particular differences will be mentioned in this topic. Generally
when you select a page element (Home,
About Us, Services,
Portfolio, Clients,
Testimonial, Links,
Contact Us) from the Menus/Design/HTML
and Edit Item panel the appropriate tab for editing the details
of the element appear in the Main Information/Menu
Header and Text panel. This helps you to conveniently create or
edit details related to that element. However you can always edit other
details of the web page such as Text,
Link, Image/Flash,
and Menu Header by selecting the
associated radio button.
To edit a text page

Select an item in the item tree under the Menus tab of the Menus/Design/HTML and Edit Item panel and click Text radio button in the Edit Item panel below.
The Text tab is opened
in the Main Information/Menu Header and
Text panel. Additional buttons for line break ,
lists and Links also appear at the bottom.

Edit the text displayed in the Text
tab and click Edit to preview the
changes in the Preview and Workspace
area. Select Clicking the Edit button enlarges
the Preview and Workspace area panel.
A new Preview button is displayed
in the list of buttons under the Text
tab. Click this button to return to the previous view.

To upload text from a text file on your computer click the Load
Text button. The Windows Open dialog is displayed from where you
can search for text files whose contents can be uploaded into the Text
tab.

To copy, cut and paste text use the Copy,
Cut and Paste
buttons.

To upload an image use the buttons of the Upload Content Image field located at the bottom
right of the panel. For more information on how to use these buttons refer
to the Creating and
Editing Main Information topic.

To save this information that you have created or edited click the Save
Project button on the toolbar or select Save
from the File menu. (Speedkey: Ctrl

Note:
To rename
an item simply change the name of the item when it is displayed in the
Edit Item field below the tree
of items after it has been selected.
To add a link

Select an item in the item tree and click Link radio button in the Edit Item panel below. The Link tab is opened in the bottom panel.

Enter a URL in the Location field.
Click the Setting button
to go to the site addressed in the URL entered in the Location
field. (The URL can be a web page/ a file/ pages on other websites.) Also, you can set it as a contact form.

Select a window where you would like the users to be directed (when they
click the link) from the Target Window
drop-down list.
If you do not have the frame, you can just choose New Window (_blank)
and ignore the other options (Root Frame/ Parent Frame/ Same Frame/
Custom Frame Name).
- To save this information that you have created or edited click the Save
Project
button on the toolbar or select Save
from the File menu. (Speedkey: Ctrl

To add an image or Flash SWF movie

Select an item in item tree and click Image/Flash radio button in the Edit Item panel below. The Image/Flash tab is opened in the bottom panel.

Click Browse to open the Images
Resizer dialog to import and resize images. To learn more on how

To save this information that you have created or edited click the Save
Project button on the toolbar or select Save
from the File menu. (Speedkey: Ctrl
+ S)
- Your image or Flash SWF movie will be displayed in the external image/flash area.
Note:
How to convert FLV to SWF?
1. In Adobe Flash, click File -> Import-> Import Video 2. If there are options available, select Embed video in SWF
3. Click File -> Save As to save the file first
4. Then click File -> Publish to publish as a SWF file.
To manage the Menu Header element

Select an item in item tree and click Menu Header Only radio button
in the Edit Item panel below. The Menu Header tab is opened
in the bottom panel.

Click Refresh.

The edited item will not link to any texts, links or images now.
To make a Not Used/ (Hidden) menu

Select an item in item tree and click Not Used/ (Hidden) radio button
in the Edit Item panel below. The Disabled item tab is opened
in the bottom panel.

Click Refresh.
-
The edited item will be disappeared.
To add more sub elements to an element in Menus/Design/HTML and Edit
Item panel
Right click on the element in the tree in the
panel and from the shortcut menu click Add
Item.

A new item titled New Item is added below the
selected item, here Services.

This can be renamed and edited like the other
items as shown above.
Note:
To delete
an item, repeat the same procedure from step 1 and
select Delete Item from the shortcut menu.
